Summary
Set in the 1990s, this folktale follows a weary man who, after a late-night stop at a roadside dhaba, unknowingly disrespects a sacred Peepal tree by urinating on it. That night, he experiences a terrifying supernatural encounter where an unseen force binds his body, leaving him terrified and helpless. Seeking answers, he learns from a priest that Djinn inhabit such trees and his actions had violated spiritual and cultural boundaries. Guided by remorse and fear, he returns to the tree to seek forgiveness. The story serves as a cautionary tale about respecting nature and the unseen forces that dwell within it.
